i'm back. unfortunately i couldn't really paint whilst abroad but i did take plenty of photos. 7 months went pretty fast now that i'm back and i just kinda hit the ground running since i landed.

it's too damn easy to be distracted and un-motivated here, so i'm going to try my best to practice some discipline: keep making art and keep riding my bike and just being healthy in general. most likely becoming vegetarian in the near future.

p.s. shit is so cheap here, lemme know what good CDs i've missed out on. i need to catch up.

Is there a way I can create custom size canvases w/o shelling $100 for a roll of canvas? I'm probably going to be using acrylic, so do I need canvas, or is there some other cheaper material I can use to create some 'canvases' w/o canvas.

And don't say cardboard... for peeing in the shower... :p

hmm, there's plenty of fabrics available, but i think getting the surface stretched and then firm enough might be more difficult.

you would have to make sure to treat the surface first with multiple layers of gesso.

are you building it all yourself?
